Edward Grzeszczak

Born to eternal life on January 10, 2018 at age 92. Beloved husband of Betty Grzeszczak for 60 years. Loving father of James (Diane) Palmar and Paul (Gerise) Grzeszczak. Proud Grandfather of John, Brittany (Matt), Evan, Bennett and Anna.  Great Grandfather of Eleanor.   Born on April 12, 1925 son of Karol and Aniela (Surwilo) Grzeszczak.  Preceded in death by brother Henry (the late Irene) Grzeszczak, sister Helen (the late Harold) Tillman, sister Mary (the late Melvin) Szczawinski,  and brother Leon (Mary) (the late Joan) Grey.   Also survived by nephews and nieces Robert (Judi) Grzeszczak, Dennis (Chris) Tillman, Michael (Marci) Szczawinski, Sharon (Michael) Swenkoske, Thomas (Kim) Tillman, Greg (Kelly) Grey, Douglas (Nancy) Grey, and Patrick (Karen) Grey.  Also survived by other relatives and friends.

Edward served in the Navy during WWII aboard the cruiser USS Honolulu.  Member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Past Commander of VFW Leslie T. Knutson Post.  
He was a City of Milwaukee employee for over 30 years, working at the Natatoriums and with the Department of Public Works.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Saturday February 17 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 6060 W. Loomis Rd., Greendale, WI.  Memorial gathering at the church from 9:00 AM until time of Mass.  Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
