Thomas Michael Stemper, age 78, died on December 1, 2019. Thomas was born on July 6, 1941 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Eugene and Lillian Stemper. He was a brother to Rosemary Richard and Betty Backes (Bruce). He was the husband of Patricia Stemper for 28 years and together they raised their five children, Thomas Henry (Cindy), Corinne Thiesen (Carl), Andrew (Vicky), Nicholas (Amy), and Jennifer Luebke/Budnik (Mike). He was the beloved godfather to Peter Richard. He has thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Tom graduated from MSOE and is a veteran who served in the Air Force Reserves during the Cuban Crisis.
Those of you that remember him know he was skilled in many ways. He was a mechanic, an engineer, and a carpenter. He could listen to any motor and know what the problem was; he was capable of fixing just about anything and called himself "Jack of all trades Master of some”. His passions in life were racing cars, driving fast boats and target shooting. He was commonly referred to as “Mr. Nice” and for never denying help to those that needed him, donating his time and talents to others.
He asked us not to grieve for him but to celebrate his life. We invite family and friends to join us between the hours of 3:30-6:30 on Friday, December 20th at the Golden Mast @ W349 N5293 Lacys Lane, Okauchee, WI. 53069. There will be a military gun salute at 4:45 P.M. followed by story sharing.
