Child of God and sister in Christ, was called to her Savior’s side on Wednesday, July 22, at the age of 96 years. Aileen was born to Richard and Bertha Harris in Bessemer, Michigan, on February 3, 1924, where she grew up and was raised. Aileen was married to Henry Walters on June 1, 1947 at the Methodist Church in Bessemer, Michigan. Their marriage was blessed with three children and nearly 70 years of loving companionship. Aileen joined and became a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church of Wauwatosa through adult baptism and confirmation on April 6, 1952, where she remained a faithful and active member for over seventy years. For several of those decades she demonstrated her devotion to Christ though her service as a member of the Altar Guild. Aileen was preceded in death by her late husband, Henry, and her grandchildren Christine Walters and Paul Bohme. Aileen will be remembered as the beloved wife of the late Henry; dear mother of Candace (Robert) Bohme, Deborah (Greg) Gerard, and the late Henry Richard Walters; sister-in-law of Howard (Rita) Raasch; loving grandmother of 7 grandchildren, great grandmother of 11 great grandchildren, and great-great grandmother of 5 great-great grandchildren. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, St. John's congregation, and the entire Christian Church on earth. We are saddened at her departure from us, but rejoice at her entrance into heaven. Her funeral will be held on July 27, 2020 at St Johns Evangelical Church. Address 7809 Harwood ave.
