Obituary
Al passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 1, 2022, at the age of 80. Cherished husband for 55 years of Adelle. Wonderful father of Brian (Kendel), Daniel (Kaoru), and Mark (Sherry) Sanford. Proud grandpa of Miranda, Zachary, Chase, Max, Mason, Meghan, and Mikey. Great-grandpa of Tamar. Brother-in-law of Ron Spiekhout, Donna (Tom) Sambs, and Janet (Bill) Weber. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Al was preceded in death by his sister, Karen.
Al and Adelle enjoyed traveling together, camping, being outdoors, and playing couples volleyball.
Al retired as a civil engineer from the Wisconsin Natural Gas Company.
Funeral Services, Monday, December 5th at 2:00 p.m. at Apostle Presbyterian Church 1509 South 76th Street. Visitation at the church from 12:00 to 1:45 p.m. Immediately following the services the family invites you to a social hour in the church hall. Private interment Highland Memorial Park.
Al served his church, Apostle Presbyterian in West Allis for over 50 years.
