He was preceded in death by his mother Dolores (nee Gliniecki) Wacholz, his father Alvin E. Wacholz Sr., his sister Anne Marie (Ryan) Salzer, and his fiancee Cindy Machnik.

Dear brother of Mary Ann (Micheal) Hickey, Judy Wacholz (Mark Malnor), Christine (Jon) Wardecke, James (Lora), Racheal Shopofski, and David (Shawn). Dear friend to Jacob Rozema (Melody Cesar), Zachary Caputa (Amber Frymark) and Ryan Caputa. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
