Andrew Robert Johnson

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Andrew Robert Johnson (aka Drew or Andy) who departed this world on October 17, 2023 at the age of 45. The funeral was held at Santa Monica Church on October 26th in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. He was laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery on November 2nd in Mequon, Wisconsin.

Andrew worked as an engineer for over 20 years, developing creative HVAC solutions. He was an avid fan of sci-fi, especially Star Wars and Star Trek and shared this love with his daughter, Mia. He also had a passion for drum and base and spending time outdoors, fishing and camping. He enjoyed reading novels by Neil Gaiman and Isaac Asimov and adored his cat, Tron.

Andrew’s dry sense of humor and witty remarks were sure to create smiles and laughter among his friends and family. He also was known to experiment in the kitchen and share his delicious recipes with those around him. He was the "fix-it" guy who was always happy to share his talents and knowledge with others. 

Andrew is survived by his wife Christina, his daughter Mia, his mother-in-law Maria Rosa Leto, sister-in-law Joann Stern (Erv, Giovanna, Jacob, David, Kylateia, Milo), sister-in-law Rosalie Leto (Dave), brother-in-law Anthony Leto (Tracy, Sophia, Fiona, Evangelina), his parents Robert and Patricia Johnson, his brother Theodore (Kayla and Elias), his sister Jessica (Eirik), and many other relatives and friends. 

Andrew was a loving father, a devoted husband and generous friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and he will always be remembered. The family takes comfort in knowing he is reunited with loved ones who have passed, in particular, his father-in-law, Angelo Leto, who he respected and loved deeply. Andrew will continue to live on in others.
