Passed away peacefully on July 2, 2022, at the age of 83. Barbara was born in Milwaukee, WI on July 4, 1938, the daughter of Joseph and Mary Kowalski. Beloved wife for over 40 years of the late James R. Klapka. Loving mom to Rick (Sue), Sue (Dean) Kruk, Sandy (Wayne) Czerwinski, and Bob Klapka. Dearest grandma to Jessica Halverson, Katie (Ivan) Ignatowski, Kelsey (Joe) Meyer, Joe Czerwinski, and Bill Klapka. Cherished great-grandma to Augie and Adaleigh Ignatowski and Karsyn Meyer. Preceded in death by her infant sister Grace. Sister of John (Mary Ellen) Kowalski. Also remembered by other loving relatives and friends.
Barbara worked as a secretary for Milwaukee Public Schools. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 11th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Roman Catholic Church. Visitation at Church from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
