Catherine A (Mckone) Rooney

Our mother Catherine A Rooney passed away at 70 yrs old on May 26th, 2023. She was very loved and will be missed terribly. She was a loving wife and mother. Catherine was united in marriage to Thomas W Rooney on June 26th, 1970. Catherine will be missed by her children Patrick (Melinda) Rooney and Eric Sr. (Sylvia) Rooney; siblings, Linda Mckone, Judy Rooney, and Bonnie (Andy) Halbrucker.; grandchildren, Jessica, Nina, Eric Jr, Breanna, Evin, Matthew, and Patrick. She is further survived by nieces, great-nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends. Catherine was preceded in death by her father Jerome Mckone, her mother Geraldine (nee Gibbs) McKone, her Husband Thomas Rooney Sr, and her son Thomas Rooney Jr

If you would like to pay your respects, you are welcome to attend a celebration of life memorial service we are holding in her honor at Peace of Mind Funeral Home 5325 W. Greenfield  Ave West Milwaukee on June 16th, 2023. Memorial Gathering from 1:30 pm to 3:15 pm with service to follow.

Catherine's final resting place will be at Forest Home Cemetary 2405 W. Forest Home Ave, Milwaukee, WI 53215

All though she has passed on.

Her memory forever stays.

Remember how she smiled,

And the joy she always gave.

We'll miss her all the time,

And think of her every day.
