Clarence Montgomery Obituary

Clarence “Ben” Montgomery, born August 2, 1942 in Laurel, MS, was called to eternal life on February 15, 2021 surrounded by family in the comfort of his home after a brief battle with cancer.

Clarence is survived by his loving wife Karen Brodnicki and daughter Megan Montgomery. He is also survived by sister Oteler Montgomery of Milwaukee, brothers Earl and Jerry of Hazelhurst, MS, many loving nieces and nephews with whom he shared a strong bond, friends, and countless others whose lives he touched. Clarence was preceded in death by his father, Claudis Montgomery; mother Lula Mae Montgomery; sisters, Claudia Brown, Lilly Mae Horton, Amanda Stapleton, Marie Dotson; and brothers, Albert Montgomery, Alvin Montgomery, Alfred Montgomery, and Willie Montgomery.

Clarence was a huge sports fan (Go Bucks!), music lover, and history buff who enjoyed politics and fitness. He will be so dearly missed by all who knew him.
The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee for their kind, loving care of Clarence as well as the wonderful team at Horizon Home Hospice in Milwaukee. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to a community organization in Clarence’s honor.
