Daniel James Orzechowski passed away peacefully in his sleep on July 2, 2025. He was known for his sense of humor, his quick wit, and—on occasion—his undeniable talent for being challenging.

Dan had a big personality and an even bigger presence. He could light up a room with a joke, a sarcastic remark, or a story that may or may not have been entirely true. Life was never boring when he was around, and he kept those closest to him laughing, rolling their eyes, or both.

He is survived by his son Taylor and daughter Cassidy, as well as his sister Liz, brother Tony, ex wife Barbara and sister-in-law Marlene. Dan was a proud grandfather to Mario, Kaylee, Olivia, and Emery, and uncle to nieces Jennie, Morgan, and Kelsey, and nephew Troy.

He was preceded in death by his mother Gloria, father Edmund, nephew Cory, and his dear friend Javier.

Dan lived life in his own way—bold, loud, funny, and unapologetically himself. He will be missed by those who knew him, and remembered with a smile by anyone who ever found themselves caught in one of his stories.

Rest easy, Dan.
