On October 8, 1938 bread was 8 cents a loaf, gold was $ 35/oz, gas was 17.5 cents a gallon, a new ford was $ 665.00 and Diana was born to Charles and Violet (nee Kulas) Carmichael. She lived and was schooled in Milwaukee where she worked for Northwestern Mutual. Diana married Ron Kasprzak in 1960. She was a loving and caring mom who was proud of her son Jeff, and daughter, Susan. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and traveling with her grandkids, State Fair and the annual cousins picnic. On April 26, 2022 she was reunited with her loving husband, Ron, daughter, Susan Mance, parents, and sister Veronica Barwick. Diana is survived by her loving son, Jeff (the late Denise), brothers, Ben (Marie) and Patrick (Irene) Barwick, grandchildren, Beck (David) Burdick, Ashley Gniotczynski, Cheyenne Kasprzak, John and Alek LaBarge, great-grandchildren, Lila, Myra, Emily, Senon, Esme, Ameela, John Jr. and Josephine. In lieu of flowers memorials are appreciated to the American Cancer Society. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 3rd at 11:00 a.m. at ST. MATTHIAS CATHOLIC CHURCH 9306 W. Beloit Road. Visitation at Church from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m.
