Eugene R Sokolowski

Age 91 years. Entered eternal life on March 12, 2022. Born to Stanley and Pearl (nee Gibas) Sokolowski. Beloved husband to late Marlene and dear brother to late Donald and late Audrey (the late Leonard Tuchalski). Beloved brother-in-law to Marcella (the late Frank Duszynski). Loving father to James (Cathryn), Mary, and Kathleen (Thomas Toerpe). Cherished grandfather to Daniel, Andrew, Meaghan, Joel, Claire, Evan, Olivia, and Grace. Loving great-grandfather to Jonah and Orion. Survived by other dear family and friends.

Heartfelt thanks and gratitude to Mary Sokolowski for the years of loving care she provided and to VITAS Healthcare for their hospice support in Eugene's final week.

Eugene was a man of many talents and interests. He was a talented jazz pianist and clarinetist, playing even the most complicated pieces quickly by ear. He loved spending Sundays rooting for (or scolding) his favorite sports teams. Above all, Eugene was devoted to his family, embracing us all with a deeply felt love and compassion that will continue to inspire and comfort us.

We will each remember Eugene's life in our quiet thoughts and in our shared memories - and always in deep gratitude for having known and loved him.
