Gerald Lawrence Schmidt

Found peace on June 14, 2025 at the age of 77. Loving husband of Bernadette for 50+ years. He is cherished brother of Thomas (Lenore) Schmidt, Jim (Linda) Schmidt, Judith (Jim) Murdoch, and Gregory (Lauren) Schmidt. Proud godfather of Trevor, Mark, and, Michelle. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and LaVerne (nee Clark) Schmidt, siblings, Jeffery Paul and Nancy Helen. He was a proud member of Knights of Columbus Council #1709 in South Milwaukee. He loved to play bingo, listen to Elvis and cheer on the Packers. For over 30 years he was an employee of Trinity Hospital in Cudahy and for over 16 years at Clement Manor in Greenfield. 

Funeral Services, Friday, June 20th at 4:00 p.m. at Knights of Columbus 732 Badger Avenue South Milwaukee. Visitation at the Knights of Columbus hall from 3:00 until the time of services. Private interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.
