Stefanski, James Joseph MSGT/USAF (retired)
08 Aug 22, age 78, Steffo took his last flight up through the clouds alongside a KC-97 and a KC-135 aerial refueling aircraft. Proud father of James G (Lisa), Jeffrey (Kim), Jennifer (Bradley) Roddy and Matthew (Jillan) Trepczyk. Loving grandfather of Candice, Marisa, Zoee, Joshua, Ryan and Riley. Brother of Monica Klusman and Richard Stefanski. Beloved husband of Rhetta for 27 years. Preceded in death by parents George and Josephine (nee Dziedzic) Stefanski. Jim resided in Milwaukee, St Francis and currently in Caledonia. Graduated with honors from South Division HS in January 1962. There he learned to appreciate tennis and developed a great love of all music. He carried these throughout his entire life. Employed at Rockwell Automation/Allen Bradley for 38 years, where he worked in, and under the infamous clock tower. Steffo took deep satisfaction in his 32 years of service in the Wisconsin Air National Guard 128th Air Refueling Wing as a jet engine mechanic. Proud veteran deployed to Cairo West Airbase in Egypt during Desert Storm.

Memorial gathering will be held Wednesday August 31st, 2022, at Joe’s K Ranch, Cudahy WI, 11:00-1:00. Interment, with full military honors, at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove WI at 3PM.
