Reunited with his beloved wife Dee Dee on May 23, 2023, at the age of 84. Loving father of Douglas (Esperanza) Stefanik, Susan Nokovic, John G. (Mary) Stefanik, and Sherry (John) Anderson. Proud grandfather of Brianna Nokovic, Jeffrey (Christine), Katherine, Amanda, Melissa and Sarah Stefanik. Great grandfather of Noah Nokovic. Dear brother of Rosalind (William) Knitter. Brother-in-law of Bernice (Florian) Supercynski, Arla (Sulo) Romo, Larry (Diane) Kangas, Helen Kangas, and Donald Cvengros. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. John was born on May 5, 1939, in Bessmer, Michigan to John J. and Rose Stefanik. Preceded in death by his sisters, Joanne Vaughn and Marie Walz. John was a proud Marine veteran who loved to garden, fish, hunt, and spend time with his family. Memorial Services at Peace of Mind Funeral Home 5325 W. Greenfield Ave. Friday, June 2nd at 11:30 a.m. Memorial Gathering at the funeral home from 9:30 to 11:15 a.m. Private Interment.
