Judith Braunsdorf Obituary

Judith Ann (Jurgensen) Braunsdorf

February 26, 1956 – September 12, 2021  (Age 65)

Nee Jurgensen. Passed away on September 12, 2021, at the age of 65. She was born on February 26, 1956, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Fred and Pearl (Gump) Jurgensen. She attended Greenfield High School. Growing up Judy was especially close to nieces Pam (Rob) Watkins and Debra Fincel. Judy married Joseph Braunsdorf on November 11, 2004, in Las Vegas. They resided in Milwaukee and Franklin.

She enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all, including small creatures like her guinea pigs and her very special dog, Naulie. Judy had previously worked several part time jobs and later worked as a Security Screener at General Mitchell International Airport. She and her husband Joe enjoyed a Karaoke business where they impersonated Sonny and Cher- and did an excellent job dressed in costumes and actually sounding like them. Judy also enjoyed playing pranks and telling ghost stories to all who would listen. She brought joy and laughter to so many.

Judy is survived by her husband Joseph, daughter Crystal Janusz, son Jonathan (Jenny) Janusz, and grandchildren Nathaniel, Rhiannon, and Hendrix as well as her sister Cynthia (Loren) Larsen, sister-in-law Christine Jurgensen, sister-in-law Cindy (John) Adamski, and brother-in-law Jerry (Mary) Braunsdorf as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and special friends. Special thanks to dear friend Lisa Cereceres and nephew Daniel Braunsdorf who helped while she was at ill at home. The family would also like to thank Cindy Adamski for making funeral arrangements during this difficult time.

She was preceded in death by her parents Fred and Pearl, her brothers Fred H., Robert, and Howard Jurgensen and her sisters Evelyn (Richard) Repensek and Lorraine (Charles) Fincel, her grandson Tyler, Dennis Janusz, her in-laws Betty and Conrad Braunsdorf, and brother-in-law Richard Braunsdorf.

There will be a private family graveside ceremony at a later date. She will be laid to rest at
