Robert Bartel Obituary

Robert (Bob) D. Bartel

April 17th, 1946  - May 28th, 2024

Bob passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family May 28th, 2024 at the age of 78. He was a proud Vietnam Veteran of the United States Army. A loving devoted husband and best friend to wife Kathy (nee) Kriegel, for 56 years. Together they had 4 amazing children, Kellie, Guy (Anna) Bartel, Tammie, Shannon (Greg) Geissler. The proudest grandfather of 8 grandchildren, Brittany Kyle, Dominique (Kane) Williams, Michael (Lisa) Chaulkin, Ryan Chaulkin, Alyxandra (Roberto) Chaulkin, Xavier Bartel, Alexander Bartel, and Caya. Bonus grandpa to Victoria and Samantha Geissler. The greatest great-grandfather to 4, Jaiden Kyle, Giovanni Orta, Alaia and Julietta De Leon.

Bob was the youngest of 7 siblings and the last surviving member of this immediate family. Bob loved spending time with his family. He will be remembered by his family and friends as a humble man, a Jack of all trades (nothing he couldn’t do),  Jokester, a Perfectionist, a man with a heart of gold and very special person loved by all.   He retired from Fed Ex Freight as a semi driver.

“It shows to go yah, If I don’t see you through the week, I will see yah through the window.”

Dad we will feed your birds, take care of mom and your home. We will honor your name in the highest form of respect and keep your memory alive, especially in our hearts. We are so proud of the incredible husband, father, grandfather and best friend you were to our family.  We will love and miss you forever!

Goodbye for now, see you later Alligator.
